Real Estate Prices in Egypt 2023-2024

Egypt has witnessed a notable spike in real estate prices in 2023. With the currency devaluation and high inflation, real estate developers have increased their prices by almost 100% just last year and are expected to reach 130% in 2024.

The North Coast has seen the highest price increase in 2023 by more than 100% as it’s one of the most attractive coastal destinations. 

Coming in second place with the highest price increase is East Cairo with almost 100%. 

West Cairo, known for being cheaper than East Cairo, recorded an increase of 85% in 2023 with an expected increase of 40% in 2024. Due to increase in demand, commercial units recorded a higher increase than residential units by a 120% increase in 2023.

Due to the ongoing economic situation in Egypt, real estate prices are expected to increase vastly in 2024.
